Kruba was born on Friday,January 9,1981in Ping Noi place,SahRah Pee
district,Chiangmai province.In his childhood years,Kruba have an
unblemished complexion,mindfulness and wisdom,more clever than children
of his age and surpassed them in study.He was compose and reclusive,a
person who don't exploit creatures.
Kruba usually got the habit
of molding big and small Buddha images from clay frequently.He like to
go to the temple for Dhamma sermon.That caused Kruba Jan Dtip
Yanawiloso,the former abbot of Wat Chai Chanat,Lamphun province,to see
that this child got charisma and good fortune who should continue to
prolong the life of Buddhism and let it flourish constantly in the
future.
Hence,Kruba Jan Dtip who was the successor of Kruba Choom
Potikoh,the former abbot of Wat Chai Mongkhun,Lamphun province,passed
on his knowledge to Kruba,especially the Lanna characters.
Kruba
was a fast learner,he was able to read and write in only 1-2 days.Kruba
Jan Dtip then passed on various incantations to Kruba and likewise he
was able to learn it in the shortest time.
Gradually,Kruba was
very adept at reading the yantra characters and figures eventually
representing Kruba Jan Dtip.Consequently,when Kruba Jan Dtip was very
old,Kruba produced takruts and other amulets by himself.To their
astonishment,it appeared to have various experiences in escaping danger.
When
Kruba was 17 years old,studying in secondary 4,he got a fervent desire
to ordain.Just when he got the opportunity to pay respect to Kruba
Therng of Wat Bahn Den,Chiangmai province,Kruba Therng suggested that he
should ordain.Kruba Therng observed that Kruba looks like a person with
charisma who has destiny in Buddhism,someone who will certainly ordain
sooner or later.Kruba accepted at once and consulted his parent with
Kruba Therng's words.
However,Kruba's parent wanted him to
continue his study so after graduation he can work,and benefit the
society and the world,in the future.In spite of that,Kruba only wants to
fulfill his desire thus he made his last decision and explain to them.
Finally,his
parent consented as they were unable to oppose him.Consequently,Kruba
ordained as a samanen or novice in the charge of Kruba Therng Nathasilo
Wat Den Salee Meuang Gaen,Mae Taeng district,Chiangmai province.
Kruba
Therng is a highly respected teacher with deep understanding in
meditation.Kruba studied with Kruba Therng for quite long then went to
search for knowledge in other area such as various incantations until
it's regarded that he's no longer inferior to anybody in the area of
incantations.In spite of that,Kruba still wants to search for more
knowledge in the area of incantations.
Teachers held in great
respect by Kruba were Kruba In Dtah of Wat Huay Sai,Lamphun province and
another monk who share the same name,Kruba In Dtah of Wat Wang
Thorng,Lamphun province.
Kruba In Dtah of Wat Wang Thorng in
particular,he have high loving kindness,and an expert in occult science
of wealth.Kruba In Dtah often told the lay devotees to pay respect to
Kruba as he's highly skillful in incantations and inferior to none.
The
fame of Kruba became widely spread all over the north until disciples
from Nan province came to invite Kruba in their favor and in Nan
province alone.Kruba gained much prestige in applying all kinds of his
occult sciences on many distressed lay devotees until his fame became
widely spread.Eventually,Kruba was praised as," Luang Phaw Nen ".
Amulets
produced by Kruba and those which were very famous are takrut,mercury
and saber etc,especially takrut and mercury already have some encounter.
Once,in
a furious argument between father and son.The father used a knife and
hacked the back of his son for 3 times but the knife was unable to
penetrate his back.Later,it was found out that he have the first batch
sacred mercury of Kruba Ariya Chart renowned for its invulnerability.
When Kruba was fully 20 years old,he received his higher ordination at Wat Patta
Sima
Chai Mongkhun ( Wang Mui), Lamphun province.Kruba was given the
ordination name,"Ariya Citto".Kruba then spent his rain retreat at Wat
Patta Sima.
After his ordination,Kruba mainly concentrate on
practicing Dhamma.However,lay devotees who got experiences from his
incantations and occult sciences of invulnerability and loving kindness
of great popularity,came pouring in ceaselessly to be his
disciples.Subsequently,his disciples invited him to spend his rain
retreat at Wat Phra Thart Dong Sima,Chiangrai province.
When
Kruba spent his rain retreat there,he proceeded with restoration work
such as restoring the dilapidated Buddha image,ordination hall and
shrine hall which just started to build its foundation.Although a lot of
fund is needed but Kruba still stick to his practice and intention in
dedicating his life to Buddhism.Kruba then attempted to lead the lay
devotees to restore according to their power of faith and along with
leading the Dhamma practice of the lay devotees.
Consequently,people
from each and every directions poured in ceaselessly.Each day,there are
not less than 10 groups of people that will come to pay respect to
Kruba.Kruba will instruct them mainly in Dhamma,the teaching of the
Buddha.
However,the fame of Kruba's incantations and
amulets,produced during the time he was a novice,is still
well-known.Kruba was especially well-known in prediction.Sometime when
lay devotees were distressed about various problem Kruba will help to
relieve it by prediction.
Resident at Mae Saruay district,each of
them got their experiences in escaping danger already.A motorcyclist
did not sustain any injury in a high-speed collision with another car.He
was merely wearing a sacred thread which Kruba tied on his wrist.
On
one occasion,there was a serious traffic collision between a
ten-wheeled truck and a school van with more than 10 students aboard.It
happened that one student who wore the sacred thread and takrut of
Kruba,sustained no injury,whereas some of the students sustained heavy
injuries and were admitted to the hospital but all managed to survive.
The
people who saw the condition of the collided van,all claimed that the
students are hardly able to survive.The sacred threads and takruts of
Kruba Ariya Chart consequently were selling remarkably well.
A
lay devotee related that he met Kruba in a temple festival in Lamphun
province while Kruba was distributing amulets.Just when another lay
devotee wants to have it but was afraid to get it, he imagined the
amulets with longing.Just for a while,Kruba called him who was sitting
quite far,to come over and handed to him the amulets without the need
for him to request or ask.
In making one's fortune which some
people experience when they came to make merit with Kruba.They requested
Kruba to help to spread loving kindness so to give them his blessing
for a prosperous business.It happened that they prosper two fold.The
news spread and then people everywhere came to pay respect to Kruba.
Moreover,Kruba
was a conservationist of ancient Buddhist relics,making it
durable.Inherited the work of the teachers,Kruba restored the
Jedi,especially the Bparng Buak Geow relic at Mae Saruay
district,Chiangrai province.It's a sacred and very ancient relic.
The
restoration took merely a month over to complete.While restoring the
relic Kruba will give his blessing and pour ceremonial water to spread
loving kindness to the teachers,deities and all sentient beings.It
happened that there were raindrops falling which greatly astonished
those who attended the ceremony.
Kruba was a person with high
loving kindness even the tribesmen respect him faithfully.Kruba ever
helped to distribute blankets,warm-keeping apparatus and other
appliances,including helping to build the shrine hall of Wat Pah
Muang,Chiangrai province.
Kruba said that this is to let them
succeed to Buddhism.Kruba also promoted education and gave scholarship
to the youth so to provide education for those who are good in their
study but lack of funds.In such practice,Kruba adhered to the
traditional practices of the teachers too.
We can also see from
the tradition of various merit making,Kruba will preserve good
traditional practices whether it was giving to charity or arranging
activity, is an established custom that was well organized following
ancient Thai Lanna region.
In his monk's cell,Kruba possessed
merely the necessary requisite of a monk,a well conducted monk worthy of
our respect.Kruba doesn't eat much and mainly eat vegetables and
fruits.
Kruba ever ate vegetarian food throughout his rain
retreat in Wat Phra Thart Dong Sima. Kruba also ate whatever the lay
devotees offered specifically vegetarian food.
However,Kruba
pitied them as they have to struggle along and make offering,so he will
